NZAEE will be holding an Annual General Meeting via Zoom, at 6pm on Tuesday 14 November, 2023. Register now.
This AGM is only six months after the last one as we are 'catching' up on reporting. Previous meetings have been timed to coincide with conferences and as a result, have often been held later than the legal requirements. Meeting virtually has provided more flexibility and we want to bring our process back into line, so this AGM will be reporting on the finances for the year ended June 2023.
In keeping with the theme of tidying up, we have also reviewed and amended the NZAEE Constitution and membership structure, and will be presenting them for approval at this meeting.
The Membership structure has been been updated to better reflect the different types of members. This visual shows the existing and proposed membership structure, which will be discussed and put to the meeting for agreement.
The Constitution has also been updated following recent changes to legislation, and again to better reflect what the organisation does. This page provides more detail.
