We encourage ākonga to think differently about waste and the earth’s resources.
Our Programmes
ReDiscover is situated at the Pines Resource Recovery Park just outside of Rolleston. We provide free onsite and outreach waste minimisation and sustainability programmes for schools and community groups across the Selwyn District.
These programmes are hands-on, interactive and feature solutions-based activities.
Our on-site programmes make use of our unique teaching environment at Pines Resource Recovery Park and provide ākonga with place-based learning within a working resource recovery park and large-scale composting facility. These on-site programmes are targeted towards community groups and primary and high school aged ākonga.
Our outreach programmes are designed for early childhood centres and provide kaimahi and tamariki with an opportunity to investigate waste management and reduction practices within the classroom.
