The Entomological Society of New Zealand is proud to host the Bug of the Year competition with 21 nominees vying for the top spot in 2025. Voting opens Jan 1st and closes Feb 17th.

Hosted by the Science Learning Hub, guest speakers Pauline Waiti, Lian Soh and Rosemary Hipkins will explore examples of mātauranga Māori and science in the classroom, including some dos and don'ts for teachers to consider.
