Matuku Link connects people with nature in the ecologically significant Te Henga wetland. Since 2016, Matuku Link has been transformed, from bare paddocks to a wonderful wetland, with the help of everyone in their community.
Visit the Resources page (using the button on the left) to explore their range of fun and engaging activities including:
- Scavenger hunts (bugs, birds, water, pests)
- Wetland plants and animals factsheets
- Macroinvertebrate ID guide
- Manu at Matuku Link
- Whose footprints? Tracking tunnel guide
- Experiments
- Videos about water testing, birds and tuna
Although these resources have been specifically developed for the Te Henga wetlands, they could easily be adapted and used in other locations to support learning about wetlands.
