Our dream

At Project Jonah we believe that the more tamariki who know about the amazing marine mammals that are right here on our coastline, the more they will want to help protect both them and the moana that they call home.

We currently have amazing Project Jonah educators in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Ōtautahi Christchurch, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Whakatū Nelson.

Our educators can provide your kura |school or kura kōhungahunga | kindergarten with an engaging educational experience that lasts around an hour and is suitable for all ages.

We bring along a life-sized inflatable whale | tohorā and our presentation explores New Zealand’s whales and dolphins and some of the issues they are facing.

There is no charge associated with our visits, however we ask for a koha | donation towards covering our costs.
